Orbival milite depuis plus de 10 ans pour la réalisation du métro de banlieue à banlieue. Imaginé par le département du Val-de-Marne en 2005, défendu par l’association depuis 2006 puis repris au rail près dans le Grand paris Express en 2011, ce projet compte plus de 60000 soutiens au fil des années.
L’association regroupe les acteurs publics, privés et associatifs du département du Val-de-Marne, réunis pour l'arrivée des lignes de métro du Grand Paris Express. Elle a permis la création d'un tracé permettant un consensus de toutes les sensibilités politiques, prenant en compte les enjeux spécifiques du département.
Nos missions sont aujourd'hui de veiller à l'intérêt des valdemarnaises et des valdemarnais dans la réalisation de ce projet du siècle.
