Depuis 1989, le Comité National pour le Développement du Bois est l’organisme national français pour le développement et la promotion de la filière forêt-bois.
Notre objectif est de faire connaître le rôle essentiel de la filière dans le développement de l’économie française et des emplois sur le territoire national, mais également celui du bois grâce à sa capacité exceptionnelle de contribution à l’atténuation du changement climatique.
Le CNDB défend les intérêts de l’ensemble de la filière forêt-bois et accompagne ses membres et partenaires pour promouvoir une ressource bois de qualité.
Son comité directeur est composé des organisations professionnelles nationales et régionales et autres structures de la filière forêt et bois.
