Since 2000, we are an internationally recognized NGO promoting the universal abolition of the death penalty around the world. We fight capital punishment by advocating with public authorities, by strengthening the abolitionist civil society, by creating and distributing publications, and by supporting death row inmates.
We federate the abolitionists to gain efficiency and accelerate the movement towards the universal abolition of capital punishment. We created the World Congress Against the Death Penalty, which is organized every three years (Strasbourg 2001, Montreal 2004, Paris 2007, Geneva 2010, Madrid in 2013 and Oslo in 2016) in the presence of several thousands of abolitionists from all around the world (civil society, politicians ...). The next Congress will take place in Brussels in 2019, see you there!

Depuis 2000, Ensemble contre la peine de mort (ECPM), association abolitionniste de référence sur la scène internationale, encourage l’abolition universelle de la peine de mort partout dans le monde. L’association agit pour lutter contre la peine capitale par du plaidoyer auprès des pouvoirs publics, le renforcement de la société civile abolitionniste, la création et la diffusion de publications, le soutien aux condamnés à mort.
ECPM fédère les abolitionnistes pour gagner en efficacité et accélérer le mouvement en vue de l’abolition universelle de la peine capitale. L’association est à l’origine des Congrès mondiaux contre la peine de mort, qu’elle organise tous les trois ans (Strasbourg 2001, Montréal 2004, Paris 2007, Genève 2010, Madrid en 2013, Oslo en 2016, Bruxelles en 2019 et Berlin en 2022) en présence de plusieurs milliers d’abolitionnistes venus du monde entier (société civile, hommes politiques...).
