Sorbonne for the United Nations - SONU is an association of students from the Sorbonne universities (Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris III Sorbonne-Nouvelle and Sorbonne Université (Paris IV and VI)), created in 2009 (resulting from the merger between Pôle Panthéon-Sorbonne for the United Nations and Sorbonne Model United Nations). Aiming to raise student awareness of UN institutions, and more generally to promote the United Nations and international cooperation within the University throughout the year through 6 thematic branches and 4 training centers.
Bringing together more than 300 members, the association is structured around six branches (Global Health, UNESCO, Human Rights, International Security & Defense -ISD, UN Environment and UN Women) and four poles (Model United Nations - MUN, Debate , Professionalization and Communication).

Sorbonne pour l’Organisation des Nations Unies - SONU est une association d’étudiants des universités de la Sorbonne (Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris III Sorbonne-Nouvelle et Sorbonne Université (Paris IV et VI)), créée en 2009 (résultant de la fusion entre Pôle Panthéon-Sorbonne pour les Nations Unies et Sorbonne Model United Nations). Ayant pour vocation de sensibiliser le monde étudiant aux institutions onusiennes, et plus généralement de promouvoir les Nations Unies et la coopération internationale au sein de l’Université tout au long de l’année à travers 6 antennes thématiques et 4 pôles formateurs.
