Created in 2015, the Grenoble University Space Center (CSUG) aims to make space accessible to all by being part of the NewSpace movement.
It brings together stakeholders from research, industry and training by involving them in the construction of nanosatellites offering real scientific, economic and societal benefits.
Around innovative and technological missions with identified scientific opportunities, the CSUG deploys an original pedagogy at the University and trains students from Grenoble Alpes University and Grenoble INP in the space field thanks to project-based learning.
The space center is positioned around five essential values

A territory of expertise in miniaturized instrumentation
The main technological barrier to nanosatellites is linked to the miniaturization of instrumentation, particularly payloads. The Grenoble site has developed undeniable know-how thanks to:

Créé en 2015, le Centre spatial universitaire de Grenoble (CSUG) a pour ambition de rendre l'espace accessible à tous en s'inscrivant dans le courant du NewSpace.
Il fédère les acteurs de la recherche, de l'industrie et de la formation en les impliquant dans la construction de nanosatellites offrant de réels bénéfices scientifiques, économiques et sociétaux .
Autour de missions novatrices et technologiques avec des débouchés scientifiques identifiés, le CSUG déploie une pédagogie originale à l'Université et forme des étudiants de l’Université Grenoble Alpes et de Grenoble INP au domaine spatial grâce à l'apprentissage par projet.

Le principal verrou technologique des nanosatellites est lié à la miniaturisation de l'instrumentation en particulier des charges utiles. Le site grenoblois a développé un savoir-faire indéniable grâce à :
