While governments continuously work on developing clearer standards on governing blockchain technologies, changes in regulations can put a strain on start-ups that are already struggling in today’s bear market.

A few great takeaways from the discussion for all Web3.0 Project Founders:
 
⚖️Get legal advice early in the product development phase to avoid wasting time from finding out later that your product is not compliant to regulations of your target market.
 
💰Cost of seeking legal advice from blockchain specialized lawyers can be expensive, leading to many founders delay seeking out legal advice. However, a great way to start would be to speak with a generalist lawyer who will then be able to guide you on where along your business journey would a specialist be more relevant.
 
🌎 Most Web3.0 projects tend to have a global audience, consider aligning your project to countries with stricter standards (i.e. US or EU) of regulations to minimize risk of non-compliance in each geography you have clients/users in.
