Onboarding Nature : un événement clé pour reconnaître la Nature comme partie prenante des entreprises ! 🌱
Le 8 février, nous avons vécu une journée riche en échanges et en apprentissages au Palais de Tokyo, avec une centaine de participant·es mobilisé·es pour imaginer de nouvelles formes de gouvernance intégrant la Nature.
✨ Au programme :
🔹 Une introduction aux enjeux de la reconnaissance de la Nature en tant que partie prenante des entreprises
🔹 Des expert·es passionné·es qui ont partagé leur vision et leurs expériences
🔹 Le lancement officiel de la version française du toolkit Onboarding Nature, un guide essentiel pour accompagner les entreprises vers une gouvernance plus régénératrice 🌍 (cf. plus bas)

When Patagonia announced it was “making Earth its only shareholder,” it was widely praised as a bold reimagining of capitalism. Matt Barr’s podcast The Announcement explores the reaction that followed—raising important questions about the power of corporate philanthropy and the structures that shape it.
While corporate philanthropy can drive positive change, it often keeps wealth and decision-making in the hands of a few. What if, instead of redistributing wealth after it’s accumulated, businesses embedded equity and shared ownership from the start?
This is the premise of alternative ownership structures, some of the most powerful wealth redistribution systems we have at our disposal. These models ensure that decision-making and value creation are shared more equitably, empowering workers and stakeholders, not just shareholders, to have a real say in a company’s future.
Many #BCorps are already doing this, most evidently with employee ownership. Nearly 200,000 employees at B Corps work at companies with these structures—ranging from cooperatives to ESOPs. At B Lab, we see this as a natural extension of what it means to be a B Corp. #BCorpCertification requires businesses to consider all stakeholders—alternative ownership structures take it a step further by giving them decision-making power.
