Moore Large are one of the UK’s largest suppliers and distributors of bicycles, bicycle accessories, and motorcycles. We are proud to be a UK owned family business with a small company ethos and big company ambitions.
The Moore family have been selling bicycles since 1947 when John Moore opened his first bike shop in Rickmansworth. Our ambition has always been to supply bicycles across all spectrums – including family and sport. Our principal focus is exceptional customer service, and great value. This remains as true today as it did then.
Today’s Moore Large is led by grandson Nigel as Chairman with Steve Caunt at the helm as MD, Dale Vanderplank, Paul Stewart, Adam Biggs, and Adam Garner as directors. We’re are also lucky enough to have a further 90 staff who all share a passion for cycling and a determination to put the customer first.
Based in our 225000 sq. ft. facility in Derby UK, we act as exclusive UK representatives for an extensive number of high profile, and market leading retail brands. This includes: Tern, WethePeople, Lake, O'Neal, Polygon, Box, Alpina, Kenda, Jagwire, On Guard and many more.
In addition to supplying branded products to the independent bicycle and motorcycle retail market, we also produce a vast range of ‘house brand' and ‘own label' items for many well-known UK high street stores, catalogue accounts and online retailers. Our house brands include, but are not limited to, ETC, Forme, Cuda, Bumper and Onza.
After more than 40 years in the bicycle trade we endeavour to expand the range of products that we create, the markets that we supply, and the brands that we support. We’re consistently striving to exceed customer expectation and needs.
We firmly believe in and invest in the independent bike retailer. So for peace of mind, great value, and quality products please take a look.
