Cube 5 supports those interested in founding a company and start-ups in the fields of future communication systems (5G/6G) and IT security. The focus is on spin-offs from research with prospects of success in the B2B sector.

Cube 5 is based at the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security and the Faculty of Computer Science at Ruhr-Universität and is the contact point for the StartUpSecure and StartUpConnect funding programs of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
