Le Secours populaire français s'est donné pour mission d’agir contre la pauvreté et l'exclusion en France et dans le monde, et de promouvoir la solidarité et ses valeurs. Il rassemble des personnes de toutes opinions, conditions et origines qui souhaitent faire vivre la solidarité. L'association est habilitée à recevoir des dons, des legs et des donations.
La Fédération de Paris du Secours populaire, forte de plus de 3 400 bénévoles, met en œuvre des actions de solidarité répondant aux problématiques du public parisien en situation de précarité. Elle agit également dans le monde grâce à son réseau d’associations partenaires.
