Packnet – Plataforma Tecnológica Española de Envase y Embalaje ha sido constituida como un foro abierto de trabajo multidisciplinar liderado por las empresas y las respectivas asociaciones empresariales del sector, contando además con el soporte de centros tecnológicos, organismos de investigación, universidades y profesionales independientes.
El objetivo general de PACKNET, es dar una respuesta estratégica conjunta del sector del envase y embalaje y al mismo tiempo, crear un espacio común donde intercambiar conocimientos, aunar esfuerzos e impulsar la I+D+i en el sector del packaging. Además, la Plataforma tiene como objetivo prioritario estimular la generación de una masa crítica de I+D+i de carácter interdisciplinar e intersectorial atendiendo prioridades y retos de la sociedad.
Entre las actividades desarrolladas por esta Plataforma destacan la organización de Grupos de Trabajo, jornadas técnicas y sesiones prácticas que mediante la aplicación de diferentes metodologías (roadmaps, paneles de expertos, etc.) se desarrollan en torno a diversos temas de interés para el sector del Packaging con el objetivo detectar nuevas oportunidades en el ámbito de la I+D+i.
