Art gallery and cultural space in Annecy
OUR STORY
Founded in 2008 in Annecy, France, Art By Friends specialise in the organisation of cultural and artistic events as well as artistsʼ promotion. In April 2014, we opened our own space of creation, exhibition and reception for the public, located in Annecy. This is where we showcase collective and solo exhibitions by artists from all over the world, and host numerous creative and cultural events.
Since 2014, we were able to work in partnership with numerous regional institutions such as Annecyʼs Art museum Le musée Chateau, Bonlieu Scène Nationale, La Fondation Salomon, Annecy's International Animation Film Festival, and the city council of Annecy, through the implementation of exhibitions, artistic performances, and commissioned art. Through the city of Annecy' cultural exchanges and our connections with museums and art curators over the years, we have been able to bring our collective exhibitions to Brooklyn, Montreal, Toronto, Sainte-Thérèse, Hanoi, Bangkok, Nouméa, Brooklyn, Geneva, Vicenza and Bayreuth.
Numerous artists from various practices invested the Art By Friendsʻs gallery such as Felipe Pantone, Rylsee, Laurent Durieux, Fred Mortagne, Kashink, Grems, Jeremyville, Ale Giorgini, Steve Pitocco, Brokovich, David Shillinglaw, Kruella DʼEnfer, , Jimbo Barbu, The Blind, Rommy Gonzalez, KST, and many more ! Coming from multiple horizons, their presence have strengthened Art by Friends cultural and international relationships in many regions.
