L'ISRA est un établissement public à caractère scientique et technique avec pour missions :
la conception et l’exécution de programmes de recherche sur les productions végétales, animales,forestières, halieutiques et sur la socio-économique rurale dans le but de contribuer à l’accroissement de la production agricole ainsi que sa durabilité. ;
la création de connaissances scientifiques, la génération d’innovations technologiques et la mise au point d’outils d’aide à la décision pour l’amélioration du secteur agricole ;
