GREENACTES, formerly Handicap Travail Solidarité (HTS), is a recognized association of general interest which was created in 2013. GREENACTES, anciennement Handicap Travail Solidarité (HTS), est une association reconnue d'intérêt général qui a vu le jour en 2013. Son objectif est de développer l'insertion sociale et professionnelle des personnes en situation de handicap via, entre autres, un soutien aux structures adaptées/protégées qui les emploient. Elle est née en réaction aux difficultés d’insertion professionnelle et sociale des personnes en situation de handicap - et aux difficultés de leurs familles - avec par exemple un taux de chômage deux fois plus important que la moyenne nationale.
Suite à ces constats, son président Damien Demoor a créé l'association avec plusieurs bénévoles et amis pour mettre leurs compétences professionnelles au service des personnes en situation de handicap et ainsi leur offrir une chance de s'intégrer professionnellement, et donc socialement.
Conscients de nos forces mais aussi des limites à porter en propre une multitude de projets, nous décidons alors de renforcer nos impacts en centrant notre action sur l’accompagnement des porteurs de projets de la transition écologique et inclusive (TEI) en lien avec les acteurs du handicap. Nous évoluons en GREENACTES, «GREEN» en référence aux enjeux et opportunités environnementaux et «ACTES» pour « Actions Citoyennes pour la Transition Écologique et Solidaire ».
