ADRETS was born in 1999 and positions itself as a resource and support center for the development of access to services for the public in the Alps and in rural areas.
The association was initially created by the leaders and management structures (local authorities and associations) of the multi-purpose reception points in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region. Then called EREF (Rural Employment Training Areas), these reception points wanted to be able to exchange, pool and promote their actions in a context of remoteness and isolation inherent to rural areas.
Today the association therefore runs the former EREF network, now better known under the name of Public Service Houses or Relais de Services Publics (state label) and extends over the territory of the Alps (region Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur and Rhône-Alpes region).
The general objective of the association is to develop access to services for the public in the Alps and in rural areas. To do this, the association draws on the experience acquired by multipurpose reception points in terms of pooling resources and a transversal territorial approach.
These approaches make it possible to promote innovative solutions in terms of services in response to new demands from residents and taking into account the organizational and financial constraints of institutions.Original language
Accessibilité des services aux publics dans les territoires ruraux alpins
L'ADRETS est née en 1999 et se positionne comme centre de ressources et d’appui pour le développement de l’accès des services au public dans les Alpes et dans les territoires ruraux.
L'association a initialement été créée par les animateurs et les structures gestionnaires (collectivités locales et associations) des points d'accueil polyvalents de la région Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur. Alors dénommés EREF (Espaces Ruraux Emploi Formation), ces points d'accueil souhaitaient pouvoir échanger, mutualiser, valoriser leurs actions dans un contexte d'éloignement et d'isolement inhérent aux territoires ruraux.
Aujourd'hui l’association anime donc l'ex-réseau des EREF, maintenant plus connus sous le nom de Maisons de service public ou encore Relais de Services Publics (label d'état) et s'étend sur le territoire des Alpes (région Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur et région Rhône-Alpes).
L'objectif général de l'association est de développer l'accès des services au public dans les Alpes et dans les territoires ruraux. Pour cela, l'association s'appuie sur l'expérience acquise par les points d'accueil polyvalents en terme de mutualisation des moyens et d'approche territoriale transversale.
Ces approches permettent en effet de promouvoir des solutions innovantes en matière de services en réponse aux nouvelles demandes des habitants et tenant compte des contraintes organisationnelles et financières des institutions.
