Un syndicat créé en 2013 pour défendre les intérêts de ses membres et promouvoir le secteur du Tour-Opérating
Le 5 mars 2013, les Tour-Opérateurs du CETO (Association de Tour-Opérateurs) ont fondé le Syndicat des Entreprises du Tour Operating (SETO).
Le SETO est destiné à amplifier et développer les actions menées par l’Association de Tour-Opérateurs (CETO), tant sur le plan national qu’européen.
Il en résultera une représentation renforcée des Tour-Opérateurs, qui facilitera la défense de leurs intérêts sur les enjeux d’avenir de leur profession, en particulier les mutations de marché, technologiques, juridiques, consuméristes et sociales.
Dans cette optique, le SETO veillera à favoriser l’adhésion des entreprises productrices de voyages au sens large, en vertu du concours qu’elles pourront apporter à l’œuvre commune (nouvelles technologies, nouveaux marchés, etc...).
Le SETO œuvrera en faveur de l’avènement d’une Fédération des métiers du tourisme et du voyage.
Monsieur René-Marc Chikli en est le Président.
Le Syndicat s’exprime régulièrement sur des questions d’actualité.
The Syndicate of French Tour-Operators (SETO) was founded on March 5, 2013 by the members of the CETO (Association of Tour-Operators).
The SETO is intended to boost and develop actions initiated by the CETO, at both national and international levels. The outcome will be a stronger representation of tour-operators, which will play a key role in defending the interest of the profession in future challenges, such as market transformation, and other technological, legal, consumerist and social issues.
With this in mind, the SETO will endeavor to encourage further membership of travel producers at large, based on their capacity to contribute to joint projects (new technologies, new markets, etc.).
The SETO will work towards building a travel trade Federation.
René-Marc CHIKLI is President of the SETO.
The Syndicate expresses its point of view on topical issues on a regular basis.
