Our mission as defined by our enabling act is to: build a savings base for the Nigerian people, enhance the development of Nigerian infrastructure and provide stabilisation support in times of economic stress. Our operating principles are in three parts: Financial sustainability, independence of investment decisions and transparency of our operations. The Fund starts with a seed funding of $1bn across three fund mandates: Future Generation Fund, Fiscal Stabilization Fund and Nigeria Infrastructure Fund. Each Fund mandate shall hold at least 20% of the Assets and it is at the discretion of the Management Team.
