1 year, 8 months agoUnlocking the true potential of industrial robots
Our sensor technology (IONA) unlocks the true potential of industrial robots, enabling greater accuracy and more flexible automated manufacturing solutions.
IONA, is a scalable network of sensors delivering metrology-grade positional data to automated manufacturing processes. The data is used to improve the accuracy and performance of industrial robots, including identifying and correcting errors in production processes.
With IONA, manufacturers can make sub-millimetre corrections to robot positions and alignment with parts, before costly mistakes are made. This approach can also facilitate simple re-configuration of robot cells, or the use of AGVs, using the IONA data to automatically update robot programs each time a robot or fixture is moved. IONA enables a right-first-time approach, saving time, energy and reducing waste.
Designed for manufacturers within the Automotive, Aerospace and Energy sectors, IONA delivers high-grade metrology data whilst being robust enough to withstand production environments.
