Association of tourism journalists (France, Europe)
The AJT was born at the end of 1997 from th two French associations of journalists: the APJT (Professional Association of Tourism Journalists) and the AJP (Association of Outdoor Journalists). The new association brings together around 200 federated journalists according to two criteria: all are professional journalists, exercising a regular activity in the column of tourism. The journalists who are members of the association represent the diversity of the profession: written press for the general public, economics, professionals, specialists, but also radio, television and the Internet. L’AJT est née fin 1997 de la fusion de 2 associations françaises de journalistes : l’APJT et l’AJP.
L’AJT est née fin 1997 de la fusion de deux associations françaises de journalistes : l’APJT (Association Professionnelles des Journalistes de Tourisme) et l’AJP (Association des Journalistes de Plein Air).
La nouvelle association regroupe environ 180 journalistes fédérés selon deux critères : tous sont journalistes professionnels, exerçant une activité régulière dans le domaine du tourisme.
Les journalistes membres de l’association représentent la diversité de la profession : presse écrite grand public, économique, professionnelle, spécialisée mais aussi radio, télévision et Internet.
L’AJT regroupe aussi bien des rédacteurs en chef que des pigistes, des reporters-photographes ou des chefs de rubrique.
