La Protection Civile du Nord est une association agréée de sécurité civile qui regroupe 420 bénévoles, tous prêts à intervenir de jour comme de nuit au service de la population.

- Les opérations de secours : mise en place de dispositifs prévisionnels de secours et renforcement des services publics de secours ;
- Le soutien aux populations : renfort aux services publics lors de catastrophes (inondations, tornades, incendies) ou aux entreprises délivrant un service aux populations (SNCF, ERDF);
- l’action solidaire et sociale : maraudes, centres d'hébergement en cas de plan Grand froid ;
- la formation aux premiers secours du grand public et la formation professionnelle (PSC1, PSE1, PSE2, SST, PIC F - PAE PSC, PAE PS,...)
