An ambitious and sustainable project around podcasting, Elson first includes a podcast listening and recommendation service in an open prototype (elson.fr) whose editorial curation has been tested with 2,000 users and modeled by a participatory listening committee. Next steps this fall 2021: The participatory “construction site” for designing the platform’s mobile application and its business model.
Elson is also a professional training organization specializing in podcasting (tac.elson.fr - datadocked since 2020, Qualiopi certified in April 2021). This activity is a response to the new needs of professionalization and acculturation
to podcasting and sound creation. Such a “radio tool” proves to be a formidable learning lever inherent in a shift in professions that we see taking place in the digital audio and audiovisual sector - but not only. Our podcast training involves a relationship with subjects, social stories, a digital culture and a hybrid and professional approach to writing.
Elson is also a studio of original creations (studio.elson.fr ).
We collaborate on projects - in development, delegated production, and/or consulting - with authors, brands and media. The studio provides support and expertise for collaborative work, in order to find the balance between creativity and impact, for real performance on the podcast.
Furthermore, according to the same educational requirement, “Tac tac tac” offers a range of “Afterschool” workshops for young people around radio, podcasts, media education and TV series.

Projet ambitieux et durable autour du podcast, Elson inclut d’abord un service d’écoute et de recommandation de podcasts en prototype ouvert (elson.fr ) dont la curation éditoriale a été testée auprès de 2000 utilisateur.ice.s et modélisée par un comité d’écoute participatif. Prochaines étapes cet automne 2021: “Le chantier” participatif de conception de l’application mobile de la plateforme et de son business model.
Elson est aussi un organisme de formation professionnelle spécialisé dans le podcast (tac.elson.fr - datadocké depuis 2020, certifié Qualiopi en avril 2021). Cette activité est une réponse aux nouveaux besoins de professionnalisation et d’acculturation
au podcast et à la création sonore. Un tel “outil-radio” se révèle un formidable levier d’apprentissage inhérent à une bascule des métiers que l’on voit s’opérer dans le secteur de l’audio digital et de l’audiovisuel - mais pas seulement. Nos formations au podcast impliquent un rapport aux sujets, aux récits de société, une culture numérique et une approche hybride et professionnelle de l’écriture.
Elson donc est aussi un studio de créations originales (studio.elson.fr ).
