We demand the EU to remove a stain on European democracy and empower European citizenship, by implementing full political rights for all EU citizens.
Our proposal demands that the Commission reforms legislation on existing rights, extend them to regional, national elections and referenda, whilst researching the wider impact of full political rights for EU citizens without creating discrimination against third-country nationals.
We received a positive "go ahead" message from the European Commission about our European Citizens' Initiative and now we need to reach the 1 million signatures.
