we_change is Sweden's largest sustainability initiative for young people. Our mission is to inspire and create conditions for young people, high schools, companies, municipalities, authorities and organizations to meet around issues that affect our common future.
Every year we_change goes on a tour of Sweden and meets thousands of high school students. During the tour, we create a meeting place where young people gain knowledge and tools to drive change. Through panel sessions and workshops, we_change gives young people the opportunity to influence and interact with decision-makers and make their voices heard. With that aim, we_change has engaged close to 70,000 young people since its inception in 2011.
In the spring of 2019, we_change was granted funds from the General Heritage Fund to create a new national three-year program that will be a unifying framework for cross-border action towards the implementation of the Global Goals, with young people at the center and with high schools around the country as a platform.
During a three-year period, we will develop a process-driven program with the Global Goals in focus together with youth and upper secondary schools. A program that, through four modules, takes the student from basic knowledge to the overall perspective and finally expertise. The modules are easy for the school to follow and incorporate into existing school activities and combine digital work with physical meetings that enable actors in society to connect with knowledge and sustainability challenges.
The project involves and activates high schools, civil society organizations, municipalities, companies and actors who work with Learning for Sustainable Development to act together to make young people a partner in the work with sustainable development.

we_change är Sveriges största hållbarhetssatsning för unga. Vårt uppdrag är att inspirera och skapa förutsättningar för unga, gymnasieskolor, företag, kommuner, myndigheter och organisationer att mötas kring frågor som berör vår gemensamma framtid.
Varje år åker we_change på Sverigeturné och möter tusentals gymnasieelever. Under turnén skapar vi en mötesplats där unga får kunskap och verktyg för att kunna driva förändring. Genom panelmoment och workshops ger we_change unga möjlighet att påverka och interagera med beslutsfattare och göra sina röster hörda. Med det syftet har we_change engagerat nära 70 000 unga sedan starten 2011.
we_change beviljades våren 2019 medel från Allmänna arvsfonden för att skapa ett nytt nationellt treårsprogram som blir ett samlande ramverk för gränsöverskridande handling mot genomförandet av Globala målen, med unga i centrum och med gymnasieskolor runt om i landet som plattform.
Under en treårsperiod ska vi utveckla ett processtyrt program med Globala målen i fokus tillsammans med unga och gymnasieskolor. Ett program som genom fyra moduler tar eleven från grundkunskapen till helhetsperspektivet och slutligen expertisen. Modulerna är enkla för skolan att följa och inkorporera i befintlig skolverksamhet och kombinera digitalt arbete med fysiska möten som möjliggör för aktörer i samhället att ansluta med kunskap och hållbarhetsutmaningar.
Projektet involverar och aktiverar gymnasieskolor, civilsamhällesorganisationer, kommuner, företag och aktörer som arbetar med Lärande för Hållbar Utveckling att tillsammans agera för att göra unga till en partner i arbetet med hållbar utveckling.
