Loria, the Lorraine Research Laboratory in Computer Science and its Applications is a Joint Research Unit (UMR 7503), shared by several institutions: the CNRS, the University of Lorraine and Inria.

Sensitive to technological development, Loria is equipped with experimental platforms including: the High Security Laboratory, the Creativ'Lab, and an important node of the national Grid5000 platform.

Le Loria, Laboratoire lorrain de Recherche en Informatique et ses Applications est une Unité Mixte de Recherche (UMR 7503), commune à plusieurs établissements : le CNRS, l’Université de Lorraine et Inria.
Nos travaux scientifiques sont menés au sein de 29 équipes organisées en 5 départements, dont 15 sont communes avec Inria, représentant un total de plus de 430 personnes. Sept axes transverses de recherche structurent le laboratoire autour de grandes thématiques telles que la sécurité informatique, la santé, l’E-éducation, les systèmes cyber-physiques et la robotique, le traitement automatique des langues et l’intelligence artificielle, l’énergie et l’usine du futur.
Sensible au développement technologique, le Loria est équipé de plateformes expérimentales parmi lesquelles : le Laboratoire de Haute Sécurité, le Creativ’Lab, et un noeud important de la plateforme nationale Grid5000.
Le transfert technologique se place au cœur des priorités du laboratoire au travers de collaborations industrielles à l’échelle nationale ou internationale.
