Elle s’occupe de la sensibilisation des pouvoirs publics aux problèmes sanitaires et environnementaux liés à cet usage.
Elle a pour objet toute action en faveur du retrait des matières plastiques et autres composés présentant un risque sanitaire et environnemental à la cantine.
Elle peut dispenser à titre gracieux ou onéreux une expertise sur les domaines qui concernent la restauration collective, la santé environnementale, la gestion des déchets.
Cantine sans plastique France est une association nationale. Elle travaille en étroite collaboration avec les nombreux collectifs qui ne cessent de se créer sur le terrain, au plus près des réalités locales, dès que les parents sont informés des conditions dans lesquelles les repas de leurs enfants sont préparés.
