[Automatic translation follows] As a National Drama Center, the Théâtre Nouvelle Génération is a place primarily dedicated to theatrical creation. It is one of thirty-three French cultural institutions to benefit from this label of excellence, awarded by the Ministry of Culture based on the artistic quality of the project. Directed by an artist, this National Drama Center is committed, as part of a three-year decentralization contract, to producing at least five productions or co-productions.
Directed since January 2015 by director Joris Mathieu, the Théâtre Nouvelle Génération develops a program open to new forms of theatrical writing and aimed at all generations of audiences. It now welcomes spectators on two sites: at the Ateliers in the 2nd arrondissement and at the TNG in the 9th arrondissement.
The artistic program – spread over the two sites – bears the colors of a theater of the imagination, open to scenic innovations, which ventures to the boundaries of other disciplines.
Unfolding on the four stages, shows to see as a family combine the pleasure of being together and the feeling of each person being in front of a work intended for them.

En tant que Centre Dramatique National, le Théâtre Nouvelle Génération est un lieu dédié en priorité à la création théâtrale. Il fait partie des trente trois institutions culturelles françaises à bénéficier de ce label d’excellence, attribué par le Ministère de la Culture au regard de la qualité artistique du projet. Dirigé par un artiste, ce Centre Dramatique National s’engage, dans le cadre d’un contrat de décentralisation de trois ans, à réaliser au moins cinq productions ou coproductions.
Dirigé depuis janvier 2015 par le metteur en scène Joris Mathieu, le Théâtre Nouvelle Génération développe une programmation ouverte aux nouvelles formes d'écritures théâtrales et à destination de toutes les générations de publics. Il accueille désormais les spectateurs sur deux sites : aux Ateliers dans le 2° arrondissement et au TNG dans le 9° arrondissement.
La programmation artistique – répartie sur les deux sites – porte les couleurs d’un théâtre des imaginaires, ouvert aux innovations scéniques, qui s’aventure aux frontières des autres disciplines.
Se déployant sur les quatre scènes, des spectacles à voir en famille combinent le plaisir d’être ensemble et la sensation d’être chacun face à une œuvre qui lui est destinée.
