EDF Renewables is part of one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies in the UK. With our portfolio of 42 sites across the UK, including onshore, offshore, battery and solar, we are providing some of the much needed new affordable, low carbon electricity the UK needs.

EDF Renewables UK has more than 14 GW of renewables projects in planning and development. We look after the operations and maintenance of our own wind farms.

Customers need new low carbon electricity to be affordable – our innovation is driving costs down, for example our Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Project which has used float and submerge technology on the foundations, 66 kV electrical connection cables and 8.3MW turbines – all firsts in offshore wind. We are also looking at the future of onshore wind using the most modern and efficient turbines to make this technology as low cost as possible.
